On Sundays & Public Holiday Mondays I am at The Fishermen’s Wharf Markets set on the wharf and alongside the lighthouse in the historical area of Pt Adelaide. Lighthouse shown above. There are two floors of fabulous trader’s stalls, all under cover and FREE ENTRY open hours 9 AM – 5 PM. Sometimes (no guarantee) you may be lucky enough to see the Port dolphins pass by.
There are Food Stalls, Face Painting, Bridal & Formal Clothing, ( New & Pre-loved, )Vintage & Retro Clothing (mine and others), Costumes, Heathers Mystic Dragons & Sales, Hemp clothing & Products. Lucky Dips, Paintings, Books, Antiques, Bicycles and Accessories, Fresh Veg and more. Well worth a visit for the whole family.
My stall has three separate sections.
1. Wedding Dresses, Formals, Evening Dresses, Veils, Gloves, Jewellery, Petticoats.
Sizing ranges from 4-30.
2. Costumes for sale, children’s & adults, small – XXX large.
3. Retro Sales. Clothing from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s & 80’s all in Excellent condition. Uniforms, Net Petticoats, Rope Petticoats, Hats, Gloves, Kid Gloves, Long Gloves, Mittens, Feather & Lace Fans. Wonderful Beaded Bags & Shoes from the 60’s, Handbags, Dilly Bags, Rock N Roll skirts with musical notes or Poodles. Bustiers, Jackets, Tails, Men’s Tweed Jackets & Hats, Feather Headdresses, Scarves, Berets, Jewellery, Jackets, Coats, Capes, Victoriana Clothing, Masks and more.
My Stall has so many Wonderful Retro clothes. Many of the people that come from Interstate tell me that they are amazed by the Variety & Original Clothing that I have, & that the prices are so much better than elsewhere.
Many of the clothes were made & worn by me in the 60’s, 70’s & 80’s, plus I have been "collecting" for many years. So the collection of Retro covers 30 – 40 years. Hope to see you there soon.
